POSITION SUMMARY

The National Sales Manager will lead the team of Regional Sales Managers, Aerial Specialists, and Dealer Channel Partners. The National Sales Manager will maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition; continually seek information from dealers, suppliers, industry governing bodies, and others to challenge, modify, and prioritize sales strategies. They will be an example to their team members on how to act with integrity in all engagements and transactions, while building a vision, creating a strategy, and driving execution for their division. They will work cross-functionally with all business units, establish, and further refine standard policies and processes, and increase collaboration across all Rosenbauer America campuses to achieve the company’s growth ambitions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.

  • Develop, implement, and monitor a regional targeting and forecasting program, and rolling it up into enterprise-wide opportunities.
  • Participate in annual and monthly regional sales forecast sessions including revenue and expense estimates.
  • Identify sales forecast opportunities and challenges and build strategies to optimize growth.
  • Ensure that all resources are utilized and leveraged to drive market growth.
  • Attend and participate in customer, company, and industry sponsored tradeshows and events.
  • Provide direction and assistance to sales support/marketing staff members in activities such as sales promotions, training or market research and planning, and executing special projects (Dealer Meetings, FDIC, etc).
  • Maintain knowledge of the industry and the competition; continually seek information from dealers, suppliers, industry governing bodies, and others to challenge, modify, and prioritize sales strategies.
  • Share learnings with cross-functional team members.
  • Develop a positive, high performance team culture.
  • Sustain the Quality management System with required departmental standards.
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or business, or combination of either education or experience in progressive sales roles.

Preferred Education:

  • Master’s degree in marketing or business.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years in product marketing or sales / dealer development.

Preferred Experience:

  • 10+ years in manufacturing, dealer development, or progressive sales experience.

  • Must be willing to travel for 50% of the time to support regional sales efforts, professional development, and develop strong customer understandings and relationships.
  • Must be able to work professionally with customers, senior management, vendors, and external business leaders.
  • Able to work efficiently with MS Office Suite.
  • Able to lead and supervise a team of an employee’s effectively and with a positive attitude and affirmativeness.
